National Key Account Manager

(NETS channel)

Our Client is a global manufacturer and distributor of a wide range of construction chemicals for professional contractors and home users. The Group comprises 30 companies located on 4 continents worldwide. Currently, our Client is one of the three largest PU foam manufacturers in the world and successfully competes with global corporations of long-term traditions in the international markets of construction chemicals. In view of further sales expansion and continuous development of the position of our company in Romania, we are looking for experienced candidates with high business culture and high work standards for the position of:

Key responsibilities: In close cooperation with HQ and aligning with the interests of all parties involved, this position responsible for:
  • Signing the contracts with NETS channel Clients
  • Developing long and lasting partnership with existing clients and identifying and acquiring new business partners
  • Planning the volume of annual targets for NETS channel and responsible for its execution( divides works tasks, monitors markets and conducts analyses)
  • Ensuring efficient collaboration between clients and local departments( coordinates field sales personnel by defining short and long-term goals, evaluating their level of achievement)
  • Developing the product lines and supporting expansion of the existing portfolio of products
  • Coordinating and supporting NETS managers( ensures timeliness and high quality of sales plan forecasts, prepares budgets and ensures his implementation, provides rapid responses to customers complaints, monitors clients accounts receivables and prevents any delays in payment schedules) 
Our expectations:
  • BA degree (preferable in the field of Marketing/ Sales /Technical/ Trade / Management)
  • At least 6 years of experience in the field of sales in DIY, FMCG; preferably in building material markets
  • Good command of English
  • Knowledge of the techniques used by DIY chains
  • Knowledge of the sales procedures and the techniques (in particular in pricing and product segmentation) and methods of analysis of consumer behaviour
  • Knowledge of the advanced negotiation techniques applied to difficult customers
  • Expertise in the area of merchandising operations used by the chains
  • Knowledge in trade marketing area, economy and logistic areas
  • Advanced user IT programs (Excel, Mobiz, CRM)
  • Strong management skills
  • Willingness to travel within Romania
