The Logistics Coordinator will be accountable for effectively manage all the logistics related activities, including: defining demand for the materials, coordinating the material planning of the necessary materials for production, managing the logistic relation with sub suppliers, synchronizing the production planning with product transport scheduling in order to meet time expectations and requirements of the final customer.
In this position you will constantly facilitate the relation between the headquarters and the Logistic departments.
You will defines the overall production plan in accordance with customer requirements and sales budget.
You are expected to accurately plan the production related necessary supplies in order to maximize factory workforce parameters and to meet the agreed delivery dates.
You will be accountable for the proper documentation and administration of materials’ movement and storage and for ensuring accurate internal material warehousing and administration, as well as supply of the production lines.
Being in charge with the administration of the company’s warehouses, you will conduct periodic inventories and you will supervise stock rotation.
You will supervise the management of sub-suppliers.
You will ensure accuracy of fiscal and administrative documents corresponding to the actions taken.
Issuing of the transport documents will be among your responsibilities.
You will participate in elaboration of improvement plans according the headquarters guidelines.
You will ensure that the flow of information is consistent with the sales structure.
We are looking for candidates with University Degree accompanied by relevant experience in logistics field and strong willingness to learn.
If you have good command of English, PC literacy, knowledge of the ERP system (preferably BAAN) and you are familiar with software tools; knowledge of MRP and BOM structure are essential for successfully completing your job.
Result oriented, you have strong abilities in leading teams and projects. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are welcomed, as well as proven planning and organizing abilities.
Additionally, willingness to continuously apprehend from the professional point of view, initiative, interpersonal awareness together with a performance-oriented attitude are highly appreciated.
